common questions
how do i sign in?
photobanquet uses your phone number and a one-time sms verification code — there is no password. enter your number, accept the terms, tap get verification code, then enter the code from your text message. you must be 18 or older to use the app.
what is a banquet?
a banquet is a temporary, private space to share photos from an event. only people invited by a banquet member can join. when the banquet expires, the photos go with it — your highlights can stay on your feed.
how do i join a banquet?
tap the invite link someone sent you or scan their qr code. you’ll be added to the banquet automatically once you’re signed in.
how do i add photos?
inside a banquet, use the camera button to take a photo or the upload button to add from your camera roll.
how do friends and the feed work?
add friends to see their banquet highlights on the feed tab. you can send friend requests from the friends tab or when you meet someone in a banquet. highlights are curated photo posts from events; friends can view them and leave comments.
what are banquet highlights?
highlights let you pick up to twelve photos from a banquet to share on your feed for friends. after the banquet expires, your highlights remain.
who can see my photos?
photos inside a banquet are only visible to members of that banquet. banquet highlights are visible to your friends on the feed tab.
what happens when a banquet expires?
you’ll lose access to the banquet and its photos. only your highlights stay — save or download anything you want to keep before it ends.
how do i delete my account?
open profile → settings (gear icon), scroll to delete account, and confirm. this permanently deletes your photobanquet account and signs you out. your profile and friends list are removed and your phone number is released for a future sign-up. photos you added to banquets may still be visible to other members until those banquets expire. this cannot be undone.
how do i report objectionable content or block someone?
use in-app report or block from a profile, photo, or comment. blocking hides that user's content from you everywhere in the app and notifies our team.
you can also email help@photobanquet.com with screenshots, the username involved, and a short description. we aim to review reports within 24 hours.
i’m not getting my sign-in code
check that you entered the correct phone number with country code. sms can take up to a minute. if it still doesn’t arrive, email us at help@photobanquet.com.
